During this transition period, all Business and Consumer Online Banking Applications including Bill Pay, Mobile and Remote Deposit Capture, and Voice Response Unit (VRU) will be unavailable.

  • Our routing number is changing to 122106251. While you may continue to use your current supply of checks we ask that you update your information with your next check order. When re-ordering new checks, please request a bank name change to “Southwest Heritage Bank” and new routing number 122106251. We advise that you use this new routing number for incoming wire transfers or ACH deposits and debits, including direct deposits, to avoid any delays in posting.
  • Your business deposit account will automatically transfer to our newly structured business deposit accounts. Your account number will not change. Click here to see the new business deposit account features.
  • Statements & Check Images - When accessing statements, a new statement page will appear, and you will be required to re-consent to online delivery. Once completed, you will be able to view statements, however, please note that not all your statements and images will be available on 3/25/24 but will be soon. Statement download options will be available on an individual statement basis. Deposit images processed pre-conversion will not be available in Business Online Banking transaction history.
  • Contactless Debit Cards - Your new Visa Debit/ATM card will be ready to use beginning Monday, 03/25/24 at 10:00am CT. Be sure to activate your card by calling (877)205-0630. At this time, your Commerce Bank of Arizona Debit Card will be inactive and should be destroyed. Once this new Bank 34 debit card expires, the reissued card will be a Southwest Heritage Bank debit card.
  • Check Positive Pay - Beginning Tuesday, March 26th, Check Positive Pay decisions must be made prior to 12:00pm CT.
  • Treasury Management ACH Origination - Beginning Monday, March 25th, ACH Originated transactions can be submitted through 8:00pm CT. Same Day ACH Payments may be submitted through 3:45pm CT. If you originate ACH through the file upload option, we ask that you originate only under routing number 122106251. If you are using accounting software through a third party, be sure to provide them the new routing number and bank name.

Your financial information will now be available on Southwest Heritage Online and Mobile Banking. 

  • Online Banking - 10:00 CT - Online Banking wil be restored.
  • Statements/Check Images - The import process will begin and can take several days to complete. Not all statements and images may not be available immediately.
  • ACH - ACH originated transactions can be submitted through 8:00pm CT. Same-day ACH payments may be submitted thru 3:45pm.
  • Mobile Banking App - Our new Southwest Heritage Business & Consumer Mobile Banking Apps will be available in the Apple App and Google Play stores.
  • Check Positive Pay - Check Positive Pay decisions must be made prior to 12:00pm CT.
  • Debit Cards - Your new Visa Debit/ATM Card will be ready to use after 10am CT, provided you activated your card and established your PIN. Your Commerce Bank of AZ Debit Card will become inactive and should be destroyed.

Current ACH templates in Business Online Banking?

We plan to convert these. 

When will I be able to use B34/CBAZ ATMs?

Definitely upon systems merger. Prior to conversion, if a customer incurs a fee for using B34 ATM, the customer can notify us and we will reverse the charge.

Do I need a new ATM/Debit Card?

No. Your current ATM/Debit card will continue to work. 

Will you still offer ATM cards?

Of course.

I have a CD maturing during the merger timeline, what do I need to know?

If you choose to rollover your CD, there is no need for you to do anything. If your CD matures within a week of the TBA system migration date and you wish to close it, please speak to your banker. 

How will my new business account type be selected?

Your product will be mapped to a similar product within the new system. Any changes in features will be communicated, however, if you wish to select a different product, you will have an opportunity to do so. 

Will my deposit account numbers stay the same?

Yes, all deposit account numbers will remain the same. 

What will happen to direct deposits, automatic payments and transfers that I’ve set up on my personal account(s)?

Direct Deposits, recurring ACH, and Wire Transfers will not be impacted.

Internal transfers will also continue as per usual.

Some external transfers may need to be re-established. More information will be provided through customer communications to address specific methods of transfers as we get closer to systems merger. 

Do I need new checks? 

At the time of systems merger, you can continue to deplete your existing check stock.

If you order your checks through the bank, your first check order post systems merger will come with the updated bank information.

If you use a 3rd party to purchase checks, you will need to provide them with an updated Bank Routing number. 

Can I choose to have my account moved to a specific account type? 

Your product will be mapped to a similar product within the new system. Any changes in features will be communicated, however, if you wish to select a different product, you will have an opportunity to do so. 

Does this change impact the FDIC deposit insurance coverage on my deposits?

No, and we will continue to offer FDIC insurance solutions such as CDARS and ICS. If a customer has accounts with both institutions, we will contact the customer to discuss options

What will happen to direct deposits, automatic payments and transfers that I’ve set up?

Direct Deposits, recurring ACH and Wire Transfers will not be impacted.

Internal transfers will also continue as per usual.

Some external transfers may need to be re-established. More information will be provided through customer communications to address specific methods of transfers as we get closer to systems merger. 

How will my current statement cycle be affected?  

At the time of systems merger, you will receive a partial statement for activity from your last statement date through the last processing going into systems merger weekend. Following systems merger and going forward, your statement will be produced at month end.  

How will I log into online banking?

How will my mobile app be affected by the merger?

Post systems merger you will need to download the new mobile app for both Apple and Android.

Will the new bank offer Person to Person transfers and if so, which ones?

Yes, once we are converted, you will be able to sign up for Zelle to do your P2P transfers.

Will my Quicken or Quickbooks information connect through systems merger? 

Both webconnect and directconnect for Quicken and Quickbooks will be offered post systems merger.

Will there be mobile app changes?

Yes. We will have new mobile apps for both Apple and Android. More information will be available 4-6 weeks prior to systems merger.

How much transaction history will I be able to see online? 

You will continue to be able to see your history in the new online banking platform. 

Will I continue to be able to see historical statements and check images in online banking? 

Yes

How much transaction history will I be able to see online? 

Account history prior to systems merger will not be available in online banking. Following systems merger, your visible history will begin to build again. You will still be able to see your statements, including your partial statement produced on systems merger weekend in the new online banking solution.  [need to confirm how pre-systems merger statements will be viewed.]

Will I continue to be able to see historical statements and check images in online banking? 

Expecting yes to pre-systems merger statements, however, we need to confirm with FIS.

No to check images. Any historic check images needed will need to be requested (unless they are visible on statements, which per above is still TBD).

Will the bank's routing number change and if so, when will customers be notified?

Following the merger of systems, the routing number will be 122106251.

Most transactions using the CBOA's routing number will be "forwarded" to the new number for checks and ACH – so you won’t need to make any changes to previous transactions you’ve set up, like direct deposits.  However, we advise that you use the new routing number for new electronic payments and incoming wire transfers.  The Fed's check clearing system will automatically recognize CBOA's new number. You may continue to use your checks until your stock is depleted. If you order your checks through a 3rd party, outside of the bank, you'll need to provide them with the new routing number when you reorder post systems merger.

Will account waivers continue to be in place for those who have them currently?

No changes

Can I use B34/CBAZ ATMs now and avoid a fee?

Definitely upon systems merger. TBD if possible between legal close and systems merger.

After legal close, we will reverse any fees that a customer will incur for using a B34 ATM.

Phone #'s and extensions staying the same?

Branch and individual phone numbers will not be changing.

When can I use B34/CBAZ branches? Closures?

No branch offices will be closed. You can begin to utilize all locations following the TBA date of the systems merger.

How does this merger benefit me as a customer?

The merged bank will have a balance sheet about double the size of each bank today. This means we will be able to offer significantly expanded loan and deposit services. The bank's digital platform will be upgraded allowing for improved treasury management and online banking services.

FDIC Insurance/ICS/CDARS

We will continue to offer FDIC insurance solutions such as CDARS and ICS.

Are new checks going to be provided to customers?

There is no need for new checks. You may continue to use your check until you run out. Upon re-ordering, please provide the new routing number to your check vendor. If you order checks thorugh the bank, this will be taken care of for you. 

Will I continue to work with the same banker I currently work with at CBAZ/B34?

Absolutely! Your current banking relationship will continue as is.

Staffing changes?

Your current banking relationship will continue as is. 

Will any locations be closing and/or any new locations open as a result of the merger?

No branch offices will be closed. We will consider new branches in the future as we evaluate strategic growth opportunities.

Am I able to utilize the other bank's locations/services now?

Please continue to use your regular banking center. Once the systems merger has been completed, you can enjoy the benefit of visiting any of the branches from either legacy institution. 

Change of any office hours?

There is no plan to change any office hours.

I receive wire transfers into my account frequently, what do I need to do to ensure they are processed correctly?

Wire Transfers will not be impacted. (Going forward, customers will need to follow new wire instructions.)

Will my loan structure change post merger?

No. Your loan is an agreement which the bank will always honor.

My loan payment is automatically deducted from my account. Will this service continue?

Internal Transfers: Assuming this question is asking about a deposit and loan which are both on the IBS today - in which case the answer is yes - the service will continue with no changes.

External Transfers: If this question is regarding an external transfer, some external transfers may need to be re-established. More information will be provided through customer communications to address specific methods of transfers as we get closer to systems merger.

What will be the address of the main headquarters of the new bank?

The merged bank's new headquarters address will be: 8777 E Hartford Dr. Ste. 100, Scottsdale, AZ  85255. However, you accounts and primary point of contact with the bank will continue to be the same as your current relationship. 

Who will be on the Board of the new bank?  Exec Mgmt?

The Board of Directors will be comprised of existing directors from both Bank 34 and CBOA, including CBOA's current Chairman, Bill Assenmacher and President, Chris Webster. Executive Management will include all of CBOA's existing management including Chief Risk Officer, Evan Anderson, Chief Credit Officer, Paul Tees and President, Chris Webster.

Person to Person Payments

The new solution for Person to Person payments will be Zelle. Your current payees/contacts, payment history and recurring payments will not be transferred to the new platform. Please take screenshots or notate any information you wish to retain prior to systems merger. 

What will be offered post merger?

Will my safe deposit box rental agreement remain the same?

There will be no change in safe deposit box availability (although there are differences in the pricing structure between the two banks that has not been decided upon yet)

Will I still receive statements for my deposit accounts on the same schedule?

Following the systems merger, all statements will be produced at the end of each month. 

Will Online and Mobile Banking be available over systems merger weekend?

Online Banking will be offline starting  at 99:99 (get exact time Friday evening) and should be available again sometime late Sunday.
